Prior to joining Retina Labs as President & CEO and investor, Richard acquired over 25 years of senior management and entrepreneurial experience in the software, technology and healthcare industry. During that time Richard led and grew multiple companies with several successful exits. At Retina Labs, Richard is responsible for business strategy, marketing and sales. Richard has led Retina Labs to its position as a leading provider of teleophthalmology solutions and in-home preventive care.

Hamid is a co-founder of Retina Labs. As such, he has held a pivotal role in the design and development of the company’s solutions. In his current role as Vice President of Technology and Product, he oversees all IT operations, application development, customer deployments, training and technical support. Prior to Retina Labs, Hamid acquired years of professional experience in the technology and software sector across multiple industries.

Derek brings to Retina Labs over a decade of extensive sales experience across several industries, including SaaS, digital marketing, and Medicaid/Medicare Advantage health plan payors. Derek's unique understanding and appreciation for aligning digital marketing best practices with go-to-market business development strategies has been the primary driver for his career path goals. During his six years spent with a digital marketing agency, Derek has established key skill sets involving customer journey mapping, content marketing, and enhancing online brand presence to increase customer engagement. In his most recent role as Business Development Manager at Icario, Derek established Account Based Marketing processes to identify new market opportunities and created targeted outbound campaigns using value-based ROI metrics with prospective health plan payors. As a true believer in creating synergies between Sales & Marketing, Derek is excited about the opportunity to collaborate cross-departmentally and drive future revenue growth for Retina Labs. In his free time, Derek enjoys snowboarding, golfing, motorcycling, four wheeling, snowmobiling, and spending time at his family cabin in northern Minnesota.

Brandon is a passionate healthcare manager who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Retina Labs in-home field operations. Brandon started with Retina Labs as a field technologist and has as risen through the ranks to become an indispensable asset to our company. As Operations Manager, Brandon brings a wealth of experience and a passion for ensuring the highest standards of care for patients. Over the years, he has demonstrated exceptional dedication, adaptability, and a relentless drive for excellence.

Beatrice is a seasoned and customer-focused business partner with Senior Management Human Resources expertise of over 25 years in both public and privately held companies, specifically in the medical device industry. She has held key HR leadership roles spearheading global business initiatives, specifically in early start-up to commercialized companies, principally in the US and Europe. Her professional portfolio includes strategic and operational human resource management, ranging from talent acquisition and retention programs to total rewards and performance management.

Dr. Cyrus Golshani is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained medical retina specialist. He specializes in treating retinal conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal vascular diseases. Dr. Golshani completed his medical retina fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic and ophthalmology residency training at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year of training. Dr. Golshani is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
